If you’ve arrived here, it means you’ve sent replies to the text messages that we sent you.

Actually, although some of our text-message stories are interactive, the one you’re in the middle of at the moment is “push” — meaning that you receive texts without needing to respond to them in any way. That said, we figured that at least a few folks would want to see what happened if they responded so we created a mechanism that would let us send replies to your texts to us.

We set it up so we can create auto-replies that are specific to each character. For example, if you reply to messages from the “patient portal” in one of the stories, you get something like this:

The Patient Portal doesn’t accept text messages. Please log in to the Patient Portal to contact your provider.

But if you reply to messages from the “Nancy” character, you might get something like this:

{reply} yourself.

Anyway, that’s how it works at the moment. Ideas for how to do it better? Use the contact form to reach out to us for any reason. We’d love to hear from you.

Thanks so much.
